BACK MASSAGE

I was falling with a girl down a long industrial tunnel filled with pipes, until we landed in a place where we could take the elevator. It was old and rusty, like a service elevator, and I pressed the button for "floor two," hoping it would take me down to where I could see outside. The girl wanted floor seven. The elevator suddenly jolted and I fell over. It was descending with great speed, and as I watched the floor numbers decrease I realized that we had started at a great height. The doors opened up and we were loaded onto a train. There were sparse huddled and somewhat sad people on the train, who suddenly began to panic when the conductor announced over the PA that the train would be letting out. "I'm NOT going outside!" a woman shrieked. "Why?" I asked. I looked out the window. There were beautiful green fields of wild flowers that stretched to the horizon. "What happens if you go outside?" "You die. The Christmas trees kill you." But a fancy looking cafe came into view, with a long line of people stretching out the door. By now we were walking outside. "But why are these people here then?" "They have walked for miles from their homes, they have no where to go and need food." I suddenly saw a new group of people, all wearing shades of orange and yellow. They all lifted their arms up to the sky. "Almost everyone is dead, but look how green the grass is." An infinite sadness gripped my chest and I began to cry. I took a walk through the fields, which I now saw were populated by grazing calves. I began picking the flowers. A mask fell over my eyes and I couldn't see, so I called out for my mother. She answered me, but was far away. I tried running to her voice, but I became unable to stand and began crawling. I felt a calf and I stopped, and she started licking my neck. At first I thought it was delightful, but soon the pressure increased as she stepped on me, her whole weight pressing on my neck. I gasped out in pain, then died.
