I finally turned in my last paper for the YEAR today. This is what I accomplished:

TIME TWISTERS

I think I forgot to put this video on here, but yeah although it got a positive response it pretty much drove me crazy, aggravating anxieties I already had about both growing up and living in Los Angeles. I had this idea a while back about destroying everything that is me and reconstructing something better, but now that it is actually happening I'm panicking and trying to hold on to the me I tried so hard to rub out.

TILL THE WORLD ENDS

So my installation managed to disgust three old ladies, which made me kind of upset, since I was standing right there, not that I exactly expect people of that age to understand our modern culture's ennui anyway.
I feel like video art is still not regarded as fine art, especially with older generations. Which is sad. BUT HEY at least I got in an art show.
